Working alongside food stylists and advertising photographers is something we enjoy very much. We consider every brief specifically to determine which ingredients perform under studio lighting, and where possible. use real food to create the finished piece. Above is a recreation of the famous Beatles Album Cover Abbey Road, created entirely from real food elements. Photography by Karl Kleiner.

Another popular way of exploiting the special qualities of real food in advertising is that any subject can be covered including national holidays and seasonal events. Above is an image created for Beefeater to celebrate the Christmas season. The challenge here was we could only use a handful of ingredients to create this image.

This scene was created with the use of traditional modelmaking skills and fake food props as well as a number of ways we have learned to manipulate real food ingredients to make  anything. We have many examples of how we can transform food into works of art. These beautiful little portraits are entirely made with the use of real ingredients. Besides the amazing photography many well mastered traditional modelmaking skills were utilised to create the subtle elegance seen in these images.
